Job Description: Position: QA/QC Manager; full-time Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Reporting to: Operation Head Location: Manufacturing Plant - PGE Industries Pvt. Job Summary: The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and processes in gasket manufacturing operations. The role ensures that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in product quality, process compliance, customer satisfaction, material and products testing, root cause analysis, documentation, supplier quality management, and implementation of quality systems as per industry standards.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of industrial gasket manufacturing processes, raw materials, especially sheet material expertise, inspection techniques, TPI, ISO systems, and customer quality requirements related to refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, and process industries. Key Responsibilities: Quality Management System Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001 standards. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, international standards, and internal quality procedures.

Prepare and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, inspection plans, and quality records. Production Quality Control & Monitoring Monitor incoming raw material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product inspection. Ensure dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of metallic and non-metallic gaskets.

Review manufacturing processes to reduce defects and improve product consistency. Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and testing equipment. Customer Quality Assurance Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Coordinate with customers for technical quality requirements and approvals. Prepare quality documents such as: COA (Certificate of Analysis), Test Certificates, Inspection Reports, Material Traceability Reports, NCR Reports Process Improvement Lead continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools such as: 5 Why Analysis Fishbone Diagram SPC Kaizen Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints. Team Management Lead and train QC Executives.

Develop quality awareness across production teams. Conduct regular quality meetings and performance reviews. Supplier Quality Management Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance.

Conduct vendor audits and supplier development activities. Ensure incoming materials comply with required specifications. Documentation & Compliance Ensure proper documentation for audits and customer requirements.

Maintain traceability records for raw materials and finished products. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field. · 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in gasket manufacturing, sealing products, or related industrial manufacturing industry. · Experience handling customer audits from refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or EPC and Process Equipment’s manufacturing companies preferred. · Strong knowledge of Sheet metals materials and gasket manufacturing processes and materials. · Knowledge of International standards; ASME, ASTM, DIN, EN and API Standards. · Good understanding of measuring instruments and testing methods · Excellent communication, leadership abilities · Proficiency in the computer skills · Experience in the sealing and insulation industry is a added advantage.
