About The Wedding Company (TWC) The Wedding Company is a tech-enabled wedding planning platform helping couples design, plan, and execute their dream weddings with ease and confidence. From venues to décor, photography to entertainment, makeup to mehendi - we bring everything under one roof, backed by a curated network of 2,000+ trusted vendors across cities. Executing weddings across geographies, budget brackets, and unique client preferences requires exceptional digital and offline capabilities. Weddings are a single-take service - there are no second chances - and come with a unique set of operational challenges. In just 18 months, we have: Curated a network of 2,000+ vetted vendors across 8+ destinations (India & Thailand) Planned & executed 400+ weddings worth 120+ crore in total service value Become operationally profitable (as of Oct 2024) while serving weddings in the 10 lakh- 5 crore range Raised 8 crore ($1M) in pre-seed funding from marquee investors including LVX, Tremis Capital, and Dropbox Co-founder Arash Ferdowsi Our mission: Make wedding planning stress-free, transparent, and delightful - for couples, vendors, and all stakeholders. What You'll Do This is an operations-heavy, relationship-driven role that blends category building, problem solving, and business ownership. No two days will be the same - you will be responsible for building and growing your assigned category from the ground up. 1. Customer Experience - Fixing the NPS Every project is 6-9 month long assignment - and involves multiple teams - talking and working with client, helping their vision come to life Due to this inherent nature of the business, it is prone to instances which can help lead to customer experience breaking At the same time, NPS is the only metric which is the primary focus of TWC - while building healthy business metrics Primary focus: doing anything and everything in terms of building processes and systems - to move the needle in the range of 30+ (2026 Season goal). 2. Problem Solving & Stakeholder Management Problem solving in Customer Experience Function - looks like - identifying breakage points and devising new systems or innovative ways to fix the customer experience Implementation and building rigour around the processes in place - considering it spans around multiple teams across different cities and functions Understanding the nuances of weddings and back tracking it from Execution to Planning and then create the industry standard best journey - for each customer segment with focus on each customer (because their wedding is special) - with cuts like different budgets, city, venue, service requirements, planning complexities etc Systems and processes built in Customer Experience function will indirectly impact following metrics: Refund Rate % Booking Value - Uptick in Average Order Value Reduction in Escalation % 3.
