Public Relations Engineer - Brazil

Job Description

1. Develop and implement communication & branding strategies for Brazil and South America.
2. Manage relations with national media in Brazil and international media based in South America.
3. Writing press releases and statements, organization of interviews with executives.
4. Media communications for CATL South America (speak to the press about CATL).
5. Handle media crises in Brazil and South America with confidence and professionalism.
6. Planning, implementation and targeted communication for PR/corporate image-related trade fairs, events, exhibitions, and conferences in Brazil and South America.
7. CATL social media management in coordination with Employer branding team and HQ team.
8. Support global PR work of CATL and coordinate with HQ and other overseas subsidiaries.
9. CATL showroom construction and maintenance.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree and above, majoring in communications/media.
2. Experience with Brazilian and South American media/public relations/marketing; knowledge in the battery/automotive industry is a plus.
3. Excellent writing and communication skills in English; good interpersonal communication skills; social media management skills. (Proficiency in Portuguese/Spanish is highly preferred for local operations).
4. 5-8 years' experience in media/public relations.
5. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Chinese is a strong plus.
6. Work well with a multi-cultural and diverse workforce. Able to work independently and under pressure, mature, and resourceful.
