*Position Overview:* We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is empathetic, highly skilled, and passionate about delivering quality psychiatric care in a private practice setting. Subspecialties in child/adolescent psychiatry or addiction medicine would be an asset.

*Responsibilities:*

· Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments

· Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management and supportive therapy

· Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

· Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed

· Option to participate in supervision, case consultations, or peer support

*Qualifications:*

· MD from an accredited medical school

· Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency

· Active, unrestricted medical license in Nova Scotia or ability to obtain one

· Experience in private practice, outpatient care, or telepsychiatry preferred

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $150,000.00-$350,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
