The clinic is seeking locum coverage for a maternity leave.

Dates: January 25, 2027 to November 30, 2027
Partial coverage for a portion of the period is welcome as well.

Compensation Model: LFP - 75/25
Average Daily Patient Load: 25
Privileges: Associate
Additional Specialties: Long-term care, palliative care
Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am-4:30 PM and Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM
Free parking is available for physicians
The panel consists of about 1400 patients with varying ages and medical complexity (no maternity, hospital, or ER. Long term care and home visits are optional).
Weekdays are typically reserved for a mixture of in-clinic and virtual appointments; although, the schedule is flexible to the covering physician’s preference.
The clinic is a full-scope family practice in Vernon’s city center. Currently, there are 2 family physicians at the clinic (a longitudinal, full time, family physician and a longitudinal locum who provides care once weekly). The patient population is full-spectrum.
*The locum physician must: *
-be licensed to practice medicine in BC
-be certified by the CCFP
-have malpractice liability insurance with the CMPA
-be enrolled in the Medical Services Plan of BC (MSP)
