Position Summary: The Residential Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, maximizing property performance, and maintaining compliance with all legal and company standards.

This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple properties efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the leasing process, including marketing vacant units, screening tenants, preparing leases, and conducting move-in/move-out inspections. Manage tenant relations, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including working with contractors and vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective service. Monitor property budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining property standards. Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and tenancy laws.

Prepare and submit regular reports on occupancy, leasing activity, maintenance issues, and financial performance. Implement and enforce property policies, rules, and procedures. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address issues proactively.

Collaborate with accounting teams to manage rent collection, arrears, and financial reconciliations. Maintain accurate records of tenants, leases, maintenance requests, and inspections. Respond to emergency situations promptly and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.

Foster a positive community environment within the property, including organizing resident events or communication initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred; relevant property management certification an asset. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in residential property management.

Strong knowledge of tenancy laws and property management best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
