Project ManagerAbout Latacora Latacora builds security practices. Latacora develops, grows, and maintains information security practices for tech-forward businesses. We join client teams to build (or re-build) and scale their practice to their security needs.

We’ve been in business for a decade this year and have built the security function for some of the most high-performing organizations around. We’ve serviced everything from authentication providers, to medical devices and healthcare, to financial services integrating with banks, and even the actual banks. About the Role Latacora is looking for our next talented Project Manager.

At Latacora, you’ll have the chance to work with our security engineering teams; keeping them productive by identifying risks and coming up with remediation plans. You’ll partner with the technical personnel to ensure products/deliverables are of the highest quality and meet client timelines. This role is remote, but a substantial portion of our team is in US time zones, so you’ll need to have significant overlap with US working hours.

That said, we’re happy to hire anywhere in the US and can hire in other countries as well. Responsibilities Lead the project planning process including initiation, scheduling, allocation of resources and implementation for each client engagement. Serve as the primary resource for assigned client personnel and internal staff on engagement-related issues.

Direct project teams and lead the tactical side of the client engagement for each of your clients. You’ll be partnered with a Security Architect to collaborate with on the strategic efforts for your clients. Prioritize client tasks, report to stakeholders and comply with business function procedures during all project phases.

Day-to-day responsibilities include: Attend client meetings to give status updates on completed, active, and future work and guide discussions on strategic engagement efforts. Prioritize and schedule tasks on the project roadmap in collaboration with the technical team members. Collaborate across engineering and management teams to report, track, triage, and resolve client issues and requests.

Provide regular status updates on active projects for each client. Anticipate future client work by communicating with clients and staying informed. Knowledge & Skills Interested individuals would ideally have experience with the following: Excellent leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Relevant project management, program management, or engineering management experience; this need not be directly related to cybersecurity. Proficient at scheduling: monitoring, controlling and updating project tasks (using Jira). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

On average, our clients are with us for years and we work with them on all facets of security, sometimes simultaneously, often in phases. Compensation & Benefits (US) Latacora’s benefit structure is based on location and experience, the following strictly applies to US applicants.
