Project Manager Location: Calgary, AB Type: 1 year contract | Hybrid – 4 days in office, 1 remote Rate: $100/h - $110/h About the Role We are partnering with a leading Canadian energy infrastructure company to hire an experienced Project Manager . This role will lead complex, large-scale infrastructure projects through a structured project delivery model, ensuring strong governance, disciplined execution, and alignment with strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects from post-feasibility through execution and close-out Act as the single point of accountability for project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety Build and lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning Champion a safety-first culture across all phases of the project lifecycle Oversee front-end engineering and execution planning to ensure constructible, risk-mitigated solutions Manage procurement strategy, contractor performance, and commercial/contractual relationships Proactively manage risks, changes, and project interfaces; provide clear reporting to senior leadership Engage with a wide range of stakeholders including regulatory bodies, Indigenous groups, landowners, and internal teams Qualifications Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta and/or British Columbia 10+ years of project management experience in large-scale oil & gas infrastructure (midstream preferred) Strong experience with gated project delivery models (concept, feasibility, FEED, execution) Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and multi-disciplinary teams Solid understanding of AB/BC regulatory and safety requirements Proficiency with project controls tools (Primavera or equivalent) and MS Office Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites What We Offer Brunel connects specialists like you with world‑class opportunities across the globe.
