Job Description
I'm currently recruiting for an exciting Project Engineersupporting the delivery of engineering improvement projects across Ireland's hydroelectric power stations.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on projects that contribute to sustainable energy generation and environmental improvements across the Shannon, Lee, Liffey, Erne, and Clady river systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from concept through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate contractors, site activities, and station interfaces.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, and support contractor management on site.
- Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or similar)
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Experience managing contractors and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Full EU/EEA driving licence and willingness to travel to hydro sites across Ireland.
Location
Dublin regular travel to hydro sites across Ireland.
Duration
12-month contract
Travel and accommodation expenses covered where applicable.
