Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Interquip is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing for clients across Australia.

Project Engineer is a site based role providing technical support and guidance to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on the day to day operations of the site and maintaining the required registers and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project / Construction Manager.
• Overall project planning and scheduling.
• Assist in managing project budget.
• Ensuring the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
• Provide daily progress reports to Project / Construction Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering qualification (Mechanical) or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a similar role.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in construction projects (SMP).
• Experience in mining/resources construction projects is required.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.
