Program Manager – Client Engagement & Delivery

About the Role

Invent Health is looking for an experienced, client-facing Program Manager who can take complete ownership of client engagements and drive the successful delivery of our healthcare risk adjustment solutions.

This is a high-impact role in a lean, fast-moving product company. We need someone who can combine the structured approach of a consulting professional with the agility and hands-on ownership required in a growing technology business.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to clients, a strong delivery leader and someone who can connect business needs with product and technology capabilities to deliver meaningful outcomes. This role will require to primarily work at nights and work from home and occasional visits to our Chennai office as per business requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end client engagements, from onboarding and implementation through delivery, adoption and ongoing account management.

2. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, understand their business priorities and manage expectations.

3. Work closely with product, engineering, data and operations teams to translate client requirements into clear deliverables and execution plans.

4. Drive program governance, delivery timelines, resource planning, risk management and financial oversight.

5. Lead client reviews, communicate progress, manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

6. Understand healthcare risk adjustment workflows and ensure our solutions deliver measurable value to clients.

7. Balance client-specific requirements with product scalability, working with internal teams to prioritise effectively.

8. Identify opportunities to improve client experience, strengthen existing relationships and support account growth.

9. Establish practical processes and delivery discipline without adding unnecessary layers of management.

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, consulting, technology delivery or client engagement, including significant experience managing enterprise clients.

* Experience in Big 4 consulting firms, leading technology consulting organisations or healthcare technology companies preferred.

* Strong understanding of healthcare technology, with experience in risk adjustment, payer operations, value-based care or related healthcare solutions highly desirable.

* Proven ability to manage complex client engagements, multiple stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams.

* Strong commercial acumen, executive communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into clear business outcomes for clients.

* Comfortable working in a lean organisation where priorities evolve and individual ownership matters more than hierarchy.

The Persona We’re Looking For

We need someone who can move comfortably between a client executive meeting and an internal delivery discussion, understand the business and technical implications of a decision, and take responsibility for getting things done.

Someone who brings consulting-level professionalism and structured thinking, but does not depend on large teams, extensive support functions or rigid processes to deliver results.

Most importantly, this person should be able to earn client confidence, protect delivery commitments, make sound decisions independently and take ownership of outcomes rather than simply coordinate activities.
