Product Operations Engineer

Sunlane Cleantech is building digital products and operational systems for the next generation of residential solar and energy management. We are looking for a highly organized and curious Product Engineer to help us improve and scale our internal systems and customer-facing digital products. This is a hands-on role working closely with the founders across CRM workflows, automations, reporting, app improvements, integrations, and internal tool rollouts.

What You’ll Work On Managing and improving Zoho CRM and Books workflows Building automations, integrations, and internal operational systems Coordinating with external software development partners Managing app bugs, feature tracking, QA/testing, and releases Creating dashboards and operational reports Supporting rollout, training, and troubleshooting of internal tools across teams Working with sales, service, operations, and leadership teams to improve processes Vendor and project coordination What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in product, operations, automation, implementation, or related roles Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment Self-driven and able to figure things out independently Good communication and coordination skills Interest in technology, systems, and process improvement Nice to Have Experience with Zoho products Basic understanding of APIs and integrations Exposure to software engineering, QA, or IoT systems Startup experience This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving workflows, and working closely with founders to solve real operational problems.
