Product Marketing Lead

Lyrebird Health

VictoriaFull-timeMid LevelOn-site

Job Description

You will own how Lyrebird's products show up in the market: the positioning, messaging, GTM, and launches that turn powerful clinical AI into something clinicians understand, trust, adopt and love. You will be the connective tissue between product, growth, brand, retention, sales, and our clinical team, and the person who makes sure the story we tell solves the problems that clinicians truly feel.
It is an owner and operator role: strategic enough to set a positioning and launch roadmap, and hands-on enough to pull the insights, brief or create the assets, and run the launch.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of parental leave, with potential to extend depending on business needs.

About Us

Lyrebird Health is building the medical intelligence layer for modern healthcare. Today, we offer a clinical AI platform purpose-built to elevate the standard of care across all clinical settings. The platform brings together ambient realtime document creation, intelligent document management and clinical workflow automation, native patient data integrations across siloed health systems, and a patient and clinical communications layer.
This system delivers better patient outcomes.

By empowering clinicians with higher quality and more three-dimensional patient information at the right time, lightening the clinician's mental load during consults, automating comms that increase velocity of action around a patient, and keeping the patient in the loop the entire time, the experience of delivering, and receiving care, are being completely transformed.
Every year in Australia, ~3000 people die from preventable medical errors. Not from incurable diseases, but from misdiagnosis, missing information, and clinicians making decisions under impossible circumstances. This transformation can't come fast enough.

What you'll do

  • Own positioning and messaging across clinician segments, from GPs and specialists to allied health, clinic owners and managers, and the non-clinical staff who keep clinics running, grounded in the jobs clinicians hire Lyrebird to do
  • Lead go-to-market for new products and features, from narrative and naming through launch plan, enablement, adoption and retention
  • Be the voice of the customer, running interviews, win-loss, and research that sharpen our understanding of clinician needs, objections, and buying decisions, and feeding it back to product, brand, and growth
  • Own competitive intelligence and the category narrative: know the alternatives clinicians weigh better than they do, and build the positioning and battlecards that help us win
  • Equip sales and customer success with the narratives, collateral, pricing and packaging communication, and objection-handling they need to convert and retain clinicians
  • Build the proof that earns clinician trust: demonstrations, case studies, and evidence that show the product working in real clinical settings
  • Measure what works: define how you will know a launch, a message, or a piece of positioning has moved adoption, and use that to decide what to do next

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years in product marketing, integrated marketing or a closely related go-to-market role, including owning positioning, messaging, and launches end to end
  • A track record of taking a product to market: you have built the narrative, run the launch, enabled the field, and measured the result
  • Strong customer instinct and research skill. You can turn messy customer input into sharp positioning, and you back your calls with evidence
  • Excellent writing. You can make a complex product simple, and make a busy professional care
  • Comfort working both strategically, owning a positioning and launch roadmap, and hands-on, writing the page and shipping the campaign
  • An AI-native, analytical way of working. You use AI across research, drafting, and analysis, and you are comfortable in the data
  • The ability to influence product, sales, and analytics partners without authority

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to clinicians, or to another licensed professional audience where trust and evidence carry the decision
  • Familiarity with Australian healthcare, or the appetite to learn it quickly
  • Experience with a product-led or freemium product, and with the free-to-paid conversion motion
  • Comfort with SQL or a BI tool such as Sigma, Tableau, or Looker

A foundational seat. You will define the next phase of product marketing at Lyrebird. Real impact in a category that matters: clinical AI is reshaping how care is delivered, and trust is the moat.

Product marketing is central to earning it. You'll have people who back you: a strong marketing team across growth, brand, retention, and creative, a product and engineering team that can build what you imagine, an analytics function to partner with, on-staff clinicians to learn from, and a sales and customer success team with daily access to customers.
We're building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive.

If you're from an underrepresented background in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet every requirement.
