Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer to join our growing Process Engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical capability across studies, project delivery and operational support within the resources sector. Working closely with experienced Lead and Senior Process Engineers, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects while building your consulting, technical and client-facing skills.

The successful candidate will bring experience or exposure to Gold processing, strong engineering fundamentals and a desire to continue developing their career across a diverse range of commodities and project types within a consulting environment.

Opportunity

As a Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from Scoping Studies and Feasibility Studies through detailed design, commissioning support and operational improvement initiatives. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team and have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise across a broad range of mineral processing applications. While Gold experience is highly valued, the role will provide exposure to a diverse portfolio of commodities, studies and project delivery opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design & Engineering Deliverables - Develop and deliver core outputs such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment datasheets.
  • Process Analysis & Optimisation - Perform calculations, equipment sizing, and drive process improvements and debottlenecking.
  • Safety & Compliance - Contribute to HAZID/HAZOP and ensure designs meet standards, safety requirements, and client expectations.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration & Project Delivery - Work across engineering disciplines to deliver projects from studies through to detailed design.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience or exposure to Gold processing operations, projects, vacation programs or graduate development programs, with an interest in applying and expanding these skills across a broader range of commodities and processing applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in developing an understanding of how Process Engineering interfaces with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical and Control Systems disciplines.
  • Site-based experience within the Kalgoorlie Goldfields region.
  • Experience with SysCAD, METSIM or similar process modelling software.
  • Exposure to Scoping Studies, PFS, DFS or detailed design projects.
