\n Principal Mechanical Engineer, Water Treatment\n

We support water customers across Australia to provide our communities with the best drinking water and wastewater treatment services, whilst innovating ways to safeguard and secure our country’s water supplies, elevating public spaces and enhancing liveability. The role is a key member of KBR’s Water team, leading projects, mentoring staff, providing technical oversight and managing client relationships across major pipelines, large pumping stations, advanced treatment plants and recycling facilities.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Lead the design of large water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
\n
• Lead investigations and the preparation of technical reports, designs, drawings, contract documents and technical specifications.
\n
• Provide guidance to engineers across the company.
\n
• Maintain relationships with clients.
\n
• Assist Industry Leads in business strategy development.
\n
• Lead the preparation of large and small bids.
\n
• Promote and practice KBR’s Zero Harm policy.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Design-focused Principal Mechanical Engineer with motivation for achievement and outcome orientation.
\n
• Experience with design practices for water & wastewater across utilities and industrial applications.
\n
• Pragmatic approach to develop constructable design solutions with proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
