Our College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher – Science to join our vibrant learning community. We are looking for an educator with a strong understanding of effective science teaching practices for our primary students, commitment to excellence in learning, and a genuine passion for fostering curiosity, discovery and student wellbeing. About the Role

We are seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate, and rigorous science learning programs for primary students. The ideal candidate will bring strong pedagogical knowledge in science education, a collaborative and team‑focused mindset, and a genuine desire to inspire curiosity while contributing to the academic, spiritual, and personal development of our students.

This is a part time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position starting in Term 1, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Science learning programs for K – 6 students, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing.
• Assess student learning accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with SCSA Achievement Standards.
• Model and promote the Catholic ethos, values, and pastoral care principles of the school.
• Develop innovative teaching resources and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to cocurricular and whole‑school activities.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
• Uphold Child‑Safe School guidelines and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current TRBWA registration.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education (primary) with specialisation in Science highly regarded.
• Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to CEWA Child‑Safe Framework.
