About the Role
A Primary Teacher will shape an engaging, nurturing, and ambitious learning environment for children 2‑18. Responsibilities include planning and delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum that reflects National Curriculum requirements and the ethos of the school. Through clear objectives, creative teaching strategies, and purposeful classroom management, you will inspire curiosity, encourage progress, and create meaningful learning experiences.
You will monitor achievement closely, using assessment to inform future planning. Beyond the classroom, you will contribute positively to the wider school community by participating in staff development, engaging with parents, supporting safeguarding responsibilities, and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Use clear objectives, creative teaching strategies, and purposeful classroom management to inspire curiosity and encourage progress.
- Monitor achievement closely and use assessment to inform future planning and ensure continuity of learning.
- Participate in staff development and collaborate with colleagues.
- Engage with parents and support safeguarding responsibilities.
