We are looking for a Security Lead who will develop and implement security programs across assigned regions and countries. The role will minimize claims, strengthen compliance with McDonald’s security standards, guidelines and procedures, and protect McDonald’s people, assets and brand. The Security Lead will provide guidance and support to regional and country leadership teams, as well as to franchisees in the assigned areas.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of global security projects and lead their local implementation across the country.
Lead security incident management, including investigations, escalation, reporting, corrective action planning and follow‑up, to minimize impact on McDonald’s.
Lead and/or actively participate in country or regional crisis response team activities as required.
Partner with relevant departments—including Operations, HR, Finance and subject matter experts—to ensure consistent application of security policies and confirm that security training and delivery channels are in place.
Immediately report any inconsistencies in policy application and serious security policy violations to management.
Coordinate security programs for McDonald’s offices to monitor and maintain a secure working environment.
Manage the country or regional Security G&A budget.
Monitor and analyze trends in McDonald’s security‑related incidents in the market, such as policy violations, restaurant P&L loss and property damage, and prioritize improvement opportunities.
Report relevant local market security trends that may impact the security environment to leadership.
Proactively consult with country and regional leadership and franchisee leaders—such as CoOps—to provide security expertise, resources and solutions.
Coordinate security services for regional and country conventions and other special events.
Participate in key meetings to train and educate country and regional management teams on how to identify significant security risks.
Develop and follow an escalation process for critical events, such as the disclosure of critical information to second or third parties, death or bodily injury, and life safety incidents.
Notify the appropriate leadership teams of any media or social media content that may have regional or global implications.

Qualifications
University degree
Master’s degree in Security Management
Previous experience working and coordinating projects in the Security Industry; at least 10 years of experience in a director or manager position.
English: C1
