Primary Homeroom Teacher (HRT)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Homeroom Teacher (HRT) for Grade 1 to join our team at our Jubilee Hills and Janwada Campuses.

The ideal candidate must have experience teaching under the Cambridge and/or IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum, with a strong understanding of inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centered learning approaches.

As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for the overall academic, social, and emotional development of your class while delivering high-quality instruction aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge and/or IB Primary Years frameworks across core primary subjects (English, Math, EVS/Science) etc.
• Implement inquiry-based and transdisciplinary teaching strategies
• Create a structured, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessment methods
• Maintain detailed student records and prepare progress reports
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and well-being
• Participate in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Cambridge and/or IB Primary curriculum
• Strong understanding of international curriculum standards
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to foster critical thinking and conceptual understanding
• Passion for working with young learners
