Through strong supplier alliances and close collaboration with industry engineers, key customers and mining personnel, we provide specialised cable products with fast delivery timeframes.
Role Summary
We’re looking for motivated and detail‑oriented Warehouse Operators to support our busy operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing sales orders by picking, winding, and packing cables for dispatch, while supporting the efficient movement of cable and accessories through the warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality, and wants to develop their skills in a professional warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate cable winding machinery to fulfil customer cut‑length requirements based on sales orders.
- Pick, wind, pack, and prepare cable products for dispatch.
- Manage the movement of cable drums and accessories in, through, and out of the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain organised inventory and support stock management activities.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System and approved warehouse/SAP procedures.
- Contribute to achieving strong customer service outcomes and DIFOT performance.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Experience working in a warehouse or high‑performing distribution environment.
- Current and valid LF Forklift License.
- Exposure to cable winding operations is desirable, but not essential.
- At least 3+ years of LF forklift operating experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and use systems such as SAP and warehouse management software.
- Commitment to workplace safety and alignment with company values.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
- Positive contribution to a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment.
