I'm delighted to be partnering with a highly respected specialist litigation team to recruit a Paralegal into its established Hearing Loss & Industrial Disease department.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Paralegal looking to build a long-term career in claimant litigation. The Role
Working closely with experienced solicitors, you'll support the progression of hearing loss and industrial disease claims from instruction through to resolution while developing your own technical knowledge and litigation skills.
As your experience grows, you'll be given increasing responsibility with a clear pathway towards independently managing your own caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the progression of hearing loss and industrial disease claims.
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing regular updates throughout the claims process.
- Obtaining and reviewing medical, employment and other evidential records.
- Liaising with medical experts, Counsel, insurers and third parties.
- Preparing legal correspondence, witness statements and case documentation.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring procedural deadlines are met.
- Supporting solicitors with the effective management of a busy and varied caseload.
- Developing towards independently managing your own portfolio of hearing loss and industrial disease claims.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or within a legal environment.
- Experience of personal injury litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
- The ambition to build a long-term career within specialist litigation.
