Packaging Project Manager

Heat and Control Pty Ltd is a global leader in industrial Food Processing Systems and Packaging Equipment with an expanding export market and worldwide affiliations. Our equipment is exported around the world, with the company being the recipient of many prestigious export awards. Based in Mt Gravatt, the Brisbane design and manufacturing facility is the Head Office for Australia, SE Asia, India, China, Europe, UK and Africa operations.

About the Role

As Project Manager you will report to the Engineering Manager. Working as part of a high performing team, you will oversee all aspects of Heat and Control packaging and inspection systems to ensure delivery on time and budget.

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided‑upon budget, timeline, and scope. You will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders (including other OEM’s), clients, or project team members.

• Update relevant stakeholders or team members on project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering reliable projects in a project manufacturing environment.

• Completion of tertiary qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, or through relevant experience and other training.
• 5-10 years’ experience with installation, commissioning, and operation of machinery in an FMCG environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / Prince II Certification.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Proficient organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
