About the Role
DFP Recruitment is currently seeking multiple Sales Consultants to join our client in permanent full-time positions commencing Monday 31st August.
This is an exciting opportunity for motivated sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, making outbound calls, and converting customer conversations into successful sales outcomes.
As a Sales Consultant, you will proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and recommend tailored solutions across a range of essential products and services. You will be responsible for managing sales conversations from initial contact through to completion, achieving individual targets, and contributing to the success of a high-performing sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a KPI-driven environment, enjoys speaking with customers, and is motivated by earning potential through performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to recommend suitable products and services.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets, conversion rates, and performance KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products based on customer requirements.
- Build rapport quickly and effectively manage customer objections to achieve successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate customer records while working across multiple systems.
- Ensure all sales interactions meet compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a professional and engaging customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Contribute to a positive, motivated, and results-driven team culture.
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, contact centre sales, or a similar target-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Confidence making outbound calls and engaging customers in sales conversations.
- A proactive approach with strong motivation to achieve personal and team goals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to work within a structured roster environment, including occasional Saturday shifts.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Availability to complete two weeks of full-time onsite training.
