Maslow Media Group is seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to lead studio and audiovisual operations at our client. This is an onsite, embedded managerial role responsible for running day‑to‑day operations, managing our staff, and ensuring consistently high service delivery across studios, events, and meeting support functions. You will be Maslow’s primary operational leader on site—driving performance, governance, and continuous improvement—while serving as a strategic partner to our client's stakeholders.

You will focus on operational excellence, staffing, resource optimization, and service reliability. This is a full-time role working onsite in our client's office in Washington, DC.

What You’ll Do Lead Onsite Operations Own daily operations across studio, AV, events, and meeting support services. Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to meet changing demand. Ensure consistent service levels, responsiveness, and quality of delivery.

Adjust staffing and workflows in real time to align with client priorities. Manage and Develop Talent Supervise all Maslow staff assigned to this client. Set performance goals, conduct regular 1:1s, and provide coaching and feedback.

Drive engagement, morale, and retention across the onsite team. Maintain backfill and surge staffing plans to prevent service disruption. Operational Governance Manage KPIs, scorecards, and performance tracking.

Co‑lead incident reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions. Support Financial Oversight Partner with Maslow leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Monitor utilization and labor efficiency. Assist Maslow corporate teams with accurate timekeeping and timely billing aligned with contract requirements. Ensure Compliance and Security Uphold all client and Maslow safety, security, and policy requirements.

Assist Maslow HR with onboarding and off‑boarding for onsite staff, including access credentials. Maintain safe and compliant work practices in technical environments. Act as a Strategic Partner Anticipate client needs and propose proactive solutions.

Bring demonstrable value through leadership, innovation, or operational improvements. Collaborate closely with client teams—without duplicating their creative supervision. Reporting & Accountability Submit monthly reports covering productivity, staffing adjustments, and talent pipeline.

Maintain clear, professional communication with both Maslow and client leadership. What You Bring Required Experience 5+ years managing onsite operations in studios, AV, live events, or media production environments. Direct experience leading technical or creative teams in client-facing settings.

Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and service delivery at scale. Strong people management and coaching skills. Comfort operating in structured, security‑sensitive environments.

Preferred Experience Experience working with government agencies, international organizations, or large institutions. Background in broadcast, live production, AV integration, or corporate media. Familiarity with KPI dashboards, incident management, or continuous improvement frameworks.
