Operational Excellence Manager – Integration & Transformation

Naigara region, Ontario

$100-150ph (3-4 month contract possibly longer)

Our client is undergoing a significant transformation following a recent acquisition and is looking for a hands on Business Transformation Consultant to help modernize and integrate the operation.

This is a hands on role working closely with senior leadership to understand current processes, identify inefficiencies and implement a more structured, scalable operating model.

Key Focus Areas

• Document and redesign finance and operational workflows.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Support a system migration.
• Review Order-to-Cash, AP/AR, purchasing, dispatch and month-end processes.
• Develop process documentation, workflows and operating procedures.
• Identify activities that can be centralized, automated or eliminated.
• Support systems, data and technology integration.
• Track transformation initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Deliver tangible, measurable outputs throughout the assignment.

Ideal Candidate

• Background in business transformation, consulting, project management or process improvement.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash and finance processes.
• Hands on Sage Intacct / Sage 50 experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution or a highly operational environment is preferred.
• Comfortable working independently and getting into the details of how a business operates.
