RV College of Nursing, Jayanagar, Bengaluru requires: -

1. Nursing Tutor – (06) Six Post

We are seeking candidates with a strong academic background, research as well as teaching experience, and a proven track record in their respective fields. The details of the positions are as follows:

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in M.Sc. Nursing is mandatory.
• Preference given for a candidate from reputed College/University
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Candidates with research publications or additional certifications will be preferred
• Registration with the State Nursing Council & NRTS is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching undergraduate nursing students in both theory and practical settings.
• Assisting in the development of course materials and curriculum.
• Supervising students during clinical postings.
• Participating in departmental activities and research initiatives
• Assisting the coordinators in the academic activities
• Work collaboratively with administrators in college & with hospital personnel
• Pursue external funding opportunities to support research and teaching activities
• Organizing recreational and social programmes.
• Engage in scholarly activities, such as conducting research, publishing papers, and presenting at conferences, to contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge and practice
• Administer assessments, including exams, assignments, and practical evaluations, to measure students' understanding and progress. Provide timely feedback and guidance to help students improve their performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to enhance the learning experience and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall development of the College.
• Any other duty that may be assigned to his/her from time to time relating to nursing education
