Job Overview Seafield Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse with excellent communication skills to join our nursing and multidisciplinary team. Unit Details Seafield is a busy 21‑bed unit primarily caring for frail, elderly medical and post‑surgical patients. The unit also provides substantial palliative and end‑of‑life care, including a day‑case bed for blood transfusions and other intravenous therapies.

Responsibilities Provide nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Carry out patient assessment, care planning and documentation. Administer intravenous therapies including blood transfusions.

Support patients in palliative and end‑of‑life care. Shift Pattern The post involves rotational day, night and weekend work. Salary and Working Hours From 1 April 2026 the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week; part‑time hours will reduce pro‑rata with a corresponding increase in hourly rate so that pay is not affected.
