Staff Nurse - Ophthalmology

Job Overview We are looking for a Band 5 registered nurse to deliver high quality care within our Ophthalmic Corneal service. The role will be fully trained and supported, with competency‑based assessment for skill development. Responsibilities Support patients attending the clinic Perform vision checks and intra‑ocular pressure checks Prepare patients for consultation Work alongside an established corneal nursing team and multidisciplinary team Develop the role to its full potential with guidance and support from the nursing team Qualifications Experience working in a high‑volume healthcare environment Experience in an ophthalmic setting is an advantage but not essential Enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, reliable and able to work under demanding conditions Excellent communication skills with passion and empathy for patients #J-18808-Ljbffr
