Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst – System Security & Risk (GRC) Specialist for an on-site contract in Austin, TX . Responsibilities The Network Security Analyst will support enterprise cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) operations, including development and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs), conducting Security Assessments (SA) and Risk Assessments (RA), and supporting system authorization and audit readiness efforts. The role works closely with Information Owners, Information Custodians, technical teams, and security leadership to ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 , NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) , and internal security standards.
Responsibilities include documenting security controls, identifying and assessing risks, maintaining risk records and POA&Ms in RSA Archer , tracking remediation activities, producing compliance reports and metrics, supporting continuous monitoring activities, and preparing audit-ready documentation. The analyst will facilitate risk workshops, validate implementation and effectiveness of security controls, and provide guidance on security documentation processes while working independently on complex assignments with limited supervision. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity GRC, system security planning, or information assurance 4+ years of hands‑on experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) 4+ years of experience conducting Security Assessments and Risk Assessments 4+ years of knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 4+ years of knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) 4+ years of experience using GRC platforms (RSA Archer preferred) 4+ years of experience working with Information Owners and Custodians Strong technical writing and documentation skills At least one of the following certifications: Security+, GSEC, CAP, or CISSP Must pass background check and pre-employment security review Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of previous experience in enterprise cybersecurity programs 2+ years of knowledge of security control standards and compliance frameworks 2+ years of previous experience supporting system authorization and continuous monitoring What We Offer Sistema offers competitive pay and solid benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
