NetApp & Storage Engineer Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage environments. The role requires strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP platforms, SAN/NAS technologies, storage provisioning, performance optimization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. The successful candidate will support highly available infrastructure platforms across production and DR environments.

Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure, and support NetApp ONTAP storage, multi-node clusters, HA pairs, Cluster failover mechanisms. Manage storage components including SVMs, aggregates, Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Administer SAN environments including Fibre Channel zoning, LUN masking, multipathing, and Cisco SAN fabrics.

Support storage migrations, technology refresh projects, and infrastructure lifecycle management. Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex storage incidents. Collaborate with virtualization, networking, security, and application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.

Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance standards. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of enterprise storage and infrastructure engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP administration and troubleshooting.

Advanced knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS/SMB, and storage replication. Experience with VMware environments, Linux systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
