Job Overview UPDATE - Providence Women s and Children s Services is seeking full‑time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants who have completed a 12‑month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program to join a well‑established team of practitioners in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities Provide clinical management of high‑risk neonates and infants, patient education, and collaborate with medical, nursing, and support services to provide high‑value, family‑centered care. Exercise autonomy of practice in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to drive patient treatment plans. Cover both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers, both teaching hospitals with Level III NICUs, Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultation, and OB Hospitalist support. Work 12‑ or 24‑hour shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 am–7 am); facility usually operates 24‑hr shift but either shift is acceptable. Support neonatal physicians contracted, unit‑based support, attend deliveries and procedures; physicians conduct daily patient check‑ins. Use office at both sites after hours and during the day. Attend high delivery‑room volume: about 3,000 patients at one site and 4,500 at the other per year.
