About the Opportunity

A global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Multi-Site Plant Leader to oversee complex manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence across multiple facilities. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for end-to-end plant performance, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, continuous improvement, and site administration.


The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering business growth, enhancing operational performance, building high-performing teams, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with global organizational objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
  • Drive manufacturing excellence through capability building, technical talent development, and process optimization.
  • Improve key operational metrics including safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost management, capital investment planning, and profitability improvement.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost optimization, quality enhancement, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with regional and global leadership teams to support strategic business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Lead organizational transformation initiatives, including operational turnaround, expansion, and performance improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, managing escalations and supporting strategic business reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including plant management, site leadership, or responsibility for a significant manufacturing business unit.
  • Full P&L ownership experience for a manufacturing plant, business unit, or multi-site operation, including responsibility for revenue, cost management, profitability, and capital investments.
  • Hands-on leadership experience in both metal stamping and plastic injection molding manufacturing operations is required.
  • Strong background in high-volume, precision manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience leading business transformation, organizational change, operational turnaround, capacity expansion, or new facility development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in building organizational capability and driving sustainable performance improvements in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Sound knowledge of automotive and/or industrial manufacturing quality systems and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and productivity management tools.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing leadership experience, including managing strategic customer relationships, business reviews, and complex operational escalations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, capital investments, and operational profitability.
