Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technician / Master Technician with a strong background in diagnostics, vehicle systems, and modern automotive technologies. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who is looking to accelerate their career with our franchises Peugeot, Ford, and MG. It also offers an opportunity to further develop expertise in hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and systems.
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and electrical work to manufacturer standards.
- Work efficiently to complete tasks to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
- Accurately complete job cards and warranty paperwork.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department.
- Perform health checks and highlight additional work required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
- Provide clear updates on vehicle progress to customers when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 6 or equivalent). Applications from partially qualified technicians will also be considered.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding experience; experience with our franchises (Ford, Peugeot, MG) is desirable.
- Expertise in modern vehicle systems including hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Logical, methodical approach to diagnostics and repair.
- Flexible, organised, and collaborative team player.
- Full clean driver’s licence.
- Fluent English.
