BIM Technician

Our client is a growing construction and interior fit-out contractor based in Dublin 4, delivering high-quality commercial and specialist fit-out projects across Ireland. They are now seeking an experienced Technical Designer / Draughts Person to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, layouts and design information to support projects from tender stage through to completion. Working closely with the Sales, Estimating, Project Management and Operations teams, you will help turn client requirements into practical, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Develop BIM models and technical schedules where required.
• Carry out site surveys and gather project information.
• Support tender submissions with accurate design details and technical input.
• Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure designs are achievable and compliant.
• Assist project teams with technical queries throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all drawings meet relevant building regulations, industry standards and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Technical Design, BIM Technician, CAD Technician, Draughtsperson or similar role.
• Experience within construction, interior fit-out, steel fabrication, window/façade design or a related sector.
• Experience with Revit and BIM would be a distinct advantage.
• Good understanding of construction detailing and technical drawings.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
