Mid Level Java Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid Level Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves developing scalable, high-availability enterprise applications within a microservices-based architecture.

The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js to build and maintain robust systems, utilizing event streaming platforms like Kafka and Oracle databases. Responsibilities Build microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot Develop modern frontend applications using React.js Work with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms Utilize and performance-tune Oracle databases Design scalable, high-availability enterprise applications Implement software architecture patterns and best practices Engage in problem-solving, debugging, and system design Requirements 6+ years of experience in software development Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot Hands-on experience building microservices-based architectures Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms Strong experience with Oracle databases, including performance tuning Experience developing modern frontend applications using React.js Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing Experience designing scalable, high-availability enterprise applications Solid understanding of software architecture patterns and best practices Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities Pay range: $51.97 - $59.97 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
