Provide compassionate nursing care to children under 13 in a rehabilitative setting. As a Registered Nurse in Children’s Intensive Services, you will join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive mental health care.
You will apply current theories, engage in patient assessments, and develop care plans focused on successful community reintegration. This role requires collaboration with families and health professionals to ensure safe and effective nursing practices. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and monitor medications for children • Conduct ongoing comprehensive assessments • Collaborate with the care team on treatment plans • Provide clinical direction to child care staff • Lead care plan development with the interdisciplinary team Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required • Registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing • Current BLS certification required • One year psychiatric nursing experience preferred • Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention required Utilize your nursing skills to provide holistic care while supporting young patients and their families in a compassionate, dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
