Math teacher - SEK Dublin

SEK-Dublin International School is looking to incorporate a Math Teacher starting in September 2026.

Mission

To deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), fostering students' mathematical thinking, critical reasoning, and inquiry-based learning while contributing to their academic achievement and personal development in an international learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
• Deliver Mathematics in the IB Diploma Programme (DP).
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics Department and across the school.
• Participate actively in school life, including meetings and occasional weekend activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Teacher Training or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above.
• Previous experience in international schools is highly valued.
• IB training or experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
