Marketing Lead
Daisy
Job Description
Daisy is a creator-powered distribution platform that helps brands get more out of their social content. We work with brands, record labels, and studios to amplify content through coordinated networks of real creators at scale. It is a new offering that is working – we are growing 3x year over year.
We’re VC-backed, fresh off our Seed round, and expanding our team to meet growing demand with a major focus on enterprise growth.
About the role
You'll be the first person at Daisy whose full-time job is marketing. That means you'll have real ownership over pretty much everything external facing: the website, the content, the sales story, the LinkedIn presence, the narrative we hand to press.
This hybrid role is based in NYC and you must be able to commute into our office in Manhattan on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will report into the Chief Product Officer (also NYC based). If you are a jack of all marketing trades who wants an opportunity to define strategy and execute ambitious ideas with a team of curious and analytical thinkers, keep reading.
Responsibilities
- Positioning & Messaging – Daisy is creating a new category, which means it takes a little bit of education to get buyers interested. We need help explaining what makes Daisy special and unique. Everyone always says “I can’t believe this didn’t already exist” so we need to tell everyone that it does.
- Content Marketing – We have so many stories we want to tell. We are looking for someone to build a content engine that reaches the market in the right place and format. This could be video, long-form thought leadership, or snappy LinkedIn posts.
- Sales Enablement – Sales is our primary lead generation tactic. We have a team of experienced sellers who get enterprise meetings with major brands. We need to capitalize on those moments with A+ presentations and leave behind content.
- Lead Nurture – Build sequences and content flows that keep prospects warm. Owns the email and nurture layer between first touch and close.
- Customer Marketing – Turn existing enterprise clients into larger ones. Build the programs and touchpoints that move accounts from pilot to $250K+.
- Marketing Ops – Serve as the internal counterpart to our PR agency. Own HubSpot well enough to keep the pipeline organized and reporting clean.
What we are looking for
- 5-10 years in a B2B marketing role across brand, content, and GTM strategy.
- You’ve owned a marketing function before, or been one of very few marketers at a growing company and want full ownership
- Strong writer. You can explain new ideas clearly and make them interesting.
- Comfortable owning the whole funnel without needing a team beneath you yet.
- Understands enterprise sales well enough to be a real partner to AEs. You've built sales materials that salespeople actually want to use.
- Can direct and script video content. You don't need to shoot or edit, but you know how to take something from concept to a finished asset with a design partner.
- A love for data and systems. You can build workflows, track pipeline, and set up reporting without needing a rev ops hire to do it for you.
- Ambition. This role will grow significantly post-raise. The person who does it well will have the opportunity to build a team.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners for paid marketing, PR, SDR lead generation, and creator marketing.
Salary $120k - $140k. Base + Bonus + Equity. (possibility of up-leveling the role, depending on experience)
- Health, dental, and vision benefits
- 401k with company match (4%)
- Stock options
- Unlimited PTO and flexible remote work
- The chance to help build the future of creator-powered marketing
Our Interview Process
We want to lay it out so that you know what to expect.
- Screening call with recruiter
- Introductory call with the hiring manager (Co-Founder, CPO)
- In-depth interview + live case study to see how you think
- Final conversation with leadership
Why Daisy
Daisy has product-market fit and a client list that would make most startups envious. The stories and results land with the market, they just aren’t being told consistently. The person who takes this role will have genuine ownership over how Daisy is perceived in the market at the moment the category is being defined.
We're raising a Series A soon and want to be ready to accelerate.
