Job Designation: Manager / Senior Manager Department: Commercial Job Location: Ahmedabad (Corporate Office) Education Qualification: Graduate (B.Com / B.B.A) Post Graduate ( PGDM in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain ) Experience: 10 to 15 Years Salary: Upto 15 LPA Key Responsibilities: Act as a liaison with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) for all licensing, policy, and compliance matters Demonstrate strong working knowledge of DGFT regulations, procedures, and online systems Handle preparation, monitoring, and closure of licenses such as: Advance Authorization Licenses EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) Licenses DFIA (Duty Free Import Authorization) Licenses Ensure timely redemption/closure of licenses in compliance with regulatory requirements Coordinate with Regional Licensing Authorities (RLA) for issuance, amendments, and renewals of licenses Maintain in-depth knowledge of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures (HBP) and ensure organizational compliance Oversee and validate customs documentation, including import/export documentation, shipping bills, bills of entry, etc. Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, compliance) to ensure seamless documentation and regulatory adherence Manage audits, queries, and notices from DGFT and customs authorities Track regulatory updates and implement changes in internal processes accordingly Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all licenses and transactions. Required Skills / Exposure Strong understanding of: Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) & Handbook of Procedures (HBP) DGFT portal and licensing systems Customs laws, ICEGATE, and documentation processes GST implications on imports/exports
