Manager

Pay: CA$90,000.00-CA$130,000.00 per year + bonus Manager (Public Accounting) Our client is seeking a Manager to provide a range of accounting and financial services to clients. Typically, the position focuses on, compilation engagements, review engagements, corporate and personal taxes, and other engagements within a public accounting firm. Key Responsibilities: Review compilations in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Completing review engagements and reviewing work performed by junior staff Assist clients with corporate tax planning, preparation, and compliance, ensuring adherence to Canadian tax laws and regulations. Manage the preparation and filing of taxes for individuals and businesses, including T1, T2, T4’s and other relevant forms. Analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for additional services. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance CPA designation preferred Extensive experience in public accounting, with a focus on non-assurance, NTR engagements, corporate tax, and T Forms. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, including experience with T1, T2, T4’s and other relevant forms.

Proficiency in using accounting and tax software and tools. Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple engagements simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Leadership abilities and experience in supporting and mentoring junior team members. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
