Job Description

Manager, HR Business Partner The Manager, HR Business Partner will act as a key partner to business leaders and employees, providing HR guidance to help drive both business performance and a positive employee experience. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Manager will serve as an advisor and advocate for the National Support teams (IT, Finance, Corporate Development, and Legal) and our Property & Casualty Solutions client segment, ensuring that People Corporation HR policies, programs, and services directly contribute to the organization's strategic deliverables. Responsibilities Provide guidance and interpretation of People Corporation’s policies, procedures, and programs for leaders and employees across client groups.

Advise leaders on employee life cycle, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management to support strong business outcomes. Support leaders on performance management, employee relations, investigations, and terminations in accordance with legislation and internal policies. Act as subject matter expert on HR processes, policy interpretation, and leadership & employee coaching.

Use data and analytics to identify patterns and influence leadership decisions. Support and manage employee accommodations and disability management cases, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of provincial employment laws and regulations. Foster a positive employee experience through effective communication with team members. Participate in cross‑functional HR projects such as HRIS implementation, policy revamps, and organizational change initiatives.

Qualifications 6+ years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a high‑growth or rapidly evolving environment. Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation (or equivalent) in progress or completed is considered an asset.

Ability to work a hybrid role requiring regular in‑office presence while offering remote work flexibility. Occasional travel to other offices as required. Proactive self‑starter with strong initiative and goal‑oriented mindset.

Ability to develop practical HR solutions from ambiguous or evolving requirements. Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to influence decisions by building relationships, credibility, and trust. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, evolving dynamic environment.

A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment. Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset. Knowledge of Workday or experience using Workday HRIS is considered an asset.

Salary Base salary: $100,000 – $115,000 annually (base only; not including other variable compensation components such as annual bonus). Work Arrangements and Location The role is hybrid, requiring regular in‑office presence with remote work flexibility. Occasional travel to other offices may be required.
