Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within the Shared Services Finance team, this role offers broad exposure across management accounting, commercial analysis and business partnering.
Supporting operational and corporate stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while providing meaningful commercial insights to support business performance.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Coordinating month‑end close including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Performing variance analysis and providing commentary on financial performance
- Supporting capital expenditure reporting and fixed asset accounting
- Business partnering with operational and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights and commercial support
- Assisting with statutory reporting, audit requirements and financial compliance
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance systems and reporting
- Preparing ad‑hoc financial analysis to support business decision‑making
About You
- Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Commercial Accountant or similar finance background
- Demonstrated experience preparing management accounts and month‑end reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience
- Strong variance analysis and management reporting capability
- General ledger, journals, accruals, reconciliations and fixed asset accounting experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Experience within mining
- Large ERP experience (Pronto/SAP/D365 F&O etc.)
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying towards completion
- Available immediately or able to commence within a one‑week notice period preferred
Particulars
- Location: Osborne Park
- Working arrangements: Monday‑Friday, full‑time, office‑based
- Employment type: 12‑month fixed‑term contract
- Remuneration: $110,000‑$130,000 + Super + circa $15,000 completion bonus
