Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer x 2 Location: Commutable from Birmingham, Walsall or Wolverhampton Salary: £46,500 to £55,500 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week | Shift pattern: Rotating Days or Set Days Available About the Role We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This is a permanent position, and you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the operational efficiency of the site. The successful candidate will be versatile and confident working across multiple disciplines, with a preference for candidates with an electrical bias.

You will support a variety of maintenance tasks across the facility, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and other technical systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults to ensure minimal downtime.

Carry out scheduled inspections and compliance checks. Work flexibly across rotating shifts, adapting to site activity levels. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports and documentation.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer/technician, ideally with an electrical focus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. Ability to work across both mechanical and electrical systems. Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work rotating shifts.
