This role offers hands-on experience with urgent cardiac cases, working closely with APP support and surgical teams. Ideal for surgeons seeking flexible weekend assignments with consistent ongoing coverage! ❤️‍ Job Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for cardiothoracic cases Perform urgent cardiac surgical procedures as needed Manage patients from cath lab to surgery and post-op care Oversee ICU to discharge patient management Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary teams Respond to callbacks and inpatient consults Requirements Qualifications: ✔️ Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery ✔️ Active Pennsylvania License (or willing to obtain) ✔️ Minimum 1 year of experience required ✔️ DEA required ✔️ Epic EMR experience preferred Working Hours: 24-Hour Call Coverage 3 Weekends per Month ⏰ Friday 12:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM Benefits Benefits: ✨ Flexible weekend-only schedule ✨ Ongoing assignment opportunity ✨ High-acuity clinical exposure ✨ Supportive surgical team Facility Type: Hospital / Float Pool
