Licensed Professional Counselor

Headway is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor to join our innovative team, helping to bridge the gap between patients and high-quality mental health services. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through their mental health journeys, using evidence-based practices to promote healing and well-being.

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluate client needs and mental health status. Develop personalized treatment plans for each client, incorporating therapies like CBT, DBT, or other modalities. Provide therapy sessions for individuals, groups, or families, tailoring approaches to specific client needs.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate mental health services with overall healthcare management. Maintain confidential records and provide timely documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes. Stay current with emerging therapies and changes in mental health practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and teletherapy platforms.

Deep understanding of various therapeutic models and practices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must hold a current state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC). Additional certifications in specific therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT) preferred.
