About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Staff Accountant with 1–1.5 years of relevant accounting experience to join our Finance & Accounting team. The role offers an opportunity to work in a US-based business environment and gain hands-on exposure to US Accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Record journal entries and maintain accounting records.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and supporting schedules.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Follow accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• B.Com / B.Com (Hons.) / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or relevant qualification.
• 1–1.5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience with Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication.
• Willingness to learn US Accounting.
• Willingness to work US night shifts.

This is a 100% onsite position in Mohali.

Candidates currently residing in Mohali, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kharar, Zirakpur, or nearby areas and comfortable commuting to Mohali are preferred.
