Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. Candidates with experience in the healthcare industry will be an added advantage.

Preferred Work Location: South Extension, Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Process invoices, payments, reimbursements, and expense claims.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist the Finance Manager with any other accounting and administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital accounting will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime or other accounting software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation concepts.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates residing in or willing to work at South Extension, Delhi.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and bookkeeping.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
