One of Northern Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors is seeking a Junior Mechanical Contracts Manager to join its growing delivery team. With over 40 years of experience, the company provides design, installation and commissioning services across a diverse portfolio of projects within the healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work secured across Northern Ireland and GB, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious mechanical professional looking to progress their career within a well-established and progressive contractor.

Your new role
As Junior Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will support the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor, Foreman, Site Manager or Site Engineer looking to move into Contracts Management. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the management of mechanical projects across multiple sites
• Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Supporting procurement activities and project programmes
• Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and health & safety standards
• Attending site meetings and carrying out regular site visits
• Assisting with project reporting and commercial tracking
• Supporting the resolution of technical and site-related issues
• Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

What you'll need to succeed

• HVAC trades background or HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• Experience in a mechanical supervisory, site management or site foreman role
• Good understanding of mechanical building services installations and project delivery
• Ability to coordinate operatives, subcontractors and site activities
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence
