IT Services Analyst Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL Hybrid (3 days in office per week) Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate - $35.00 - $40.00 (Depending on Experience – 40hr/week) We seek an IT Analyst to support our client’s core Oracle billing platform. This role will focus on driving work across multiple operating companies (OpCos), ensuring priorities are executed efficiently, and helping remove roadblocks across business and technical teams. Our client recently completed a major implementation and is now in a stabilization and enhancement phase. This individual will play a key role in facilitating work, performing analysis, and ensuring tasks progress from intake through completion across three service territories. The ideal candidate will blend business analysis, technical acumen, and coordination skills to help drive work forward, resolve blockers, and translate business needs into actionable solutions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field At least 2 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role with IT fundamentals Foundational experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical problem statements Basic SQL skills (ability to write queries such as joins, filtering, and data analysis) Exposure to relational databases (Oracle preferred) Familiarity with software development concepts (Java or similar preferred) Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities Bonus Requirements: Exposure to Oracle CC&B or similar billing platforms Understanding of Meter-to-Cash processes (billing, payments, credit/collections) Familiarity with Groovy or scripting languages Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business units Your Responsibilities Include: Facilitate and drive work tasks across three OpCos, ensuring alignment and timely delivery Perform triage and analysis of incoming work, identifying priorities and next steps Identify and help resolve roadblocks (e.g., unclear requirements, vendor dependencies, prioritization conflicts) Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable tasks Write and execute SQL queries to analyze issues and support decision-making Support Credit & Collections initiatives within the platform Partner with development teams and vendors to ensure work is progressing as expected Track and communicate status updates, risks, and dependencies Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and workflows Build foundational knowledge of utility operations and service territories What’s in it for you?
