Job Title: IT Clinical Software Developer Location: Davie, Florida Employment Type: 1+ year Contract Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Clinical Software Developer to design, develop, implement, and support clinical software solutions. This role partners closely with clinical, informatics, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable systems that improve clinical workflows, integrations, and patient care outcomes. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain custom clinical software applications Lead peer reviews and contribute to technical best practices Analyze clinical and business requirements to deliver effective system solutions Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex clinical system issues Lead system upgrades, integrations, deployments, and go-live activities Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and test plans Collaborate with clinical leadership, informatics teams, trainers, and external partners Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical systems and integrations Provide advanced training and support to clinical informatics teams Assist with project planning, timelines, and resource assessment Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and data security standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or related field 2+ years of experience in clinical informatics, software development, or related roles Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, SQL, HL7, XML, and web services Experience with EHR / EMR systems (e.g., NextGen or similar platforms) Proficiency in Azure and Visual Studio environments Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Lean methodologies Preferred Qualifications NextGen Certified Professional Scrum Master or Agile certification Experience with Oracle databases and TCP/IP programming Background in healthcare IT integrations Key Skills Clinical systems development and integration Complex problem solving and systems analysis Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration Technical documentation and training delivery Critical thinking and decision-making Work Environment & Requirements Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight as needed Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during implementations Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use standard computer equipment Why Join Us Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare technology solutions Collaborative environment with clinical and technical leadership Competitive compensation and benefits Professional growth and certification support #J-18808-Ljbffr
